No Excuse

It’s always interesting to discover the many reasons for what people think and do. Our tendency is to make them excuses for our thoughts and behavior. There is, however, no excuse for any sin, no matter the reason. That’s why repenting of our sin and turning to Christ is so important. He wants to forgive us. He loves us and wants to save us from ourselves so we can be with Him eternally. Only He can forgive our sins and He’s made it possible by becoming human in body, living a perfect life, dying on the cross, rising from the dead (conquering death and Satan) and returning to heaven where He reigns and King of kings and Lord of lords. There is no forgiveness other than that which God offers through Jesus. There is no forgiveness without repentance (Mark 1:15).
